The Brown Technical Media company was elated to announce on January 5, 2017 that they have accomplished an exclusive deal with The Training Center of Air Conditioning and Heating. The agreement transaction is expected to further expand the Brown Corporation’s strategy to take advantage of virtual reality when it comes to the company’s eLearning segment.
Brown Technical Media is lobbying a change in the traditional technical vocations certification and training industry. They are making a breakthrough in providing complete training and career development methodology in the field of technical vocation. In an attempt to replace the already outdated training methods, finally Brown has break the ice by modernizing the learning techniques through virtual reality integration. This Virtual Reality Environment or VRE that Brown is now trying to promote is expected to make a big impact in the technical skills trade industry.
Did you know the estimated market for the Virtual Reality Environment software come 2025 is estimated to reach up to $35 billion? This data is according to Goldman Sachs. The HVAC technicians and contractors are currently trained through the traditional instructional learning classrooms and laboratories at work. However, with the recent VRE introduction a number of HVAC eLearning training and course materials will become available online. The full online HVAC technical course will include the hands on experience of physical instructional classroom as well as the laboratory. What more? The publication is also working on creating a complete handbook alongside the eLearning course.
Noah Davies, Panther’s President and Chief Operating Officer has said that the portable, eLearning based VRE's can reach out to a larger trainee population in a cost-effective manner while providing new learning experiences that are far more price competitive to deliver. And he added, "Students who struggle to pass their respective state level exams to become a licensed tech will find VREs as an attractive, learning assist tool given their rich, interactive environment. Brown will continue to upgrade the vocational training vertical with proven technology for their intended applications."
The online course will be featuring a 3D virtual reality integration of the course material which will allow the student technicians to experience laboratory learning even in the comfort of their own home. This VRE-based course is going to be the first in the HVAC eLearning field. Brown is now releasing a new website designedfor the technicians and contractors of HVAC. Furthermore, Evan Levine, the Chief Executive Officer of Panther has said, "Our innovation could not have come at a more opportune time. Currently, one third of all nationally skilled tradesmen are over fifty-five years of age and retiring at an accelerated rate and unfortunately there are not enough skilled tradesman to replace them." Hopefully, with the integration of VRE in HVAC training more skilled technician will be discovered.
